28th International Annual Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE28)
The 28th International Annual Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE28), held on July 31, 2025 at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University, Thailand, brought together leading experts and researchers from all over the world to share their research and innovation. The symposium featured diverse presentations and discussions on computational science and engineering. Dr. Somrudee served as the conference organizer, with Dr. Somrudee and Dr. Nguyen co-chairing the scientific committee to shape the program’s academic quality. Together, they also led the session on Artificial Intelligence Applications, contributing significantly to the event’s success.
Our research assistant team played an important role in the conference. Mr. Sorawit Chokphantavee was awarded Best Oral Presentation for his paper, ‘Evaluating the Legal Summarization Capabilities of Large Language Models in the Context of Thai Inheritance Law.’ Meanwhile, Mr. Sirawit Chokphantavee presented his work on ‘Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning for Low-Resource Thai Legal Case Classification of Property-related Offences.’
Additionally, two of Dr. Somrudee’s students also presented their innovative research: Mr. Nyan Lin Mya presented ‘Developing Pressure Sensing Mat for Yoga Pose Analysis,’ while Ms. Charisa Areewattana shared her work on ‘Cup-lump Rubber Quality Estimation from Historical Weather Data Using Machine Learning Regressors.’ This event showcased advanced research across computational fields and celebrated the accomplishments of our talented presenters.
